We are recruiting participants for a research study (IRB00522321) led by Principal Investigator Hunki Kwon, PhD, studying epilepsy and associated memory and attention difficulties.
We are recruiting:
1. Children with epilepsy without MRI abnormalities
2. Children without epilepsy or other neurological diseases.
This is a non-invasive brain imaging research study using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Electroencephalography (EEG), and experimental tasks. Participants will visit the F.M. Kirby Research Center at the Kennedy Krieger Institute for 1–3 sessions lasting about 6 hours total. Participants will receive up to $200, with parking and snacks provided. Participants may rest or watch a movie during imaging sessions.
