You can help researchers learn how to treat anxiety in young autistic children.
Why is participating in this research study important?
- Anxiety is very common in autistic individuals
- Untreated anxiety can interfere with school and family life and increase risk for other mental health problems.
- Common fears in young autistic children include separation from caregivers, social situations, uncertainty, loud noises, and making mistakes.
Your child may qualify if he/she
- Has diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of Autism and Anxiety
- Is 4 to 6 years 11 months old
What is involved?
- Parents will learn about anxiety over Zoom for 14 weeks.
- Parents will complete measures about their child’s anxiety.
- $100 for completion of all sessions and study measures.
