Kripi is a Senior Research Assistant at the Brain and Behavioral Development Lab (BBDL) and has been a member of the team since 2022. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Stony Brook University in New York, where she conducted research on neurorehabilitation following spinal cord injury in animal models.
After moving to Baltimore in 2021, her research interests shifted from animal models to little humans. She now spends much of her time working with tiny hats, big machines, and even bigger questions about the developing brain. Her work focuses on collecting and analyzing infant neuroimaging data using EEG and MRI, and she is currently expanding these efforts to include HD-DOT as part of the GLOW study.
Alongside her research, Kripi is pursuing a Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she is further developing her interests in epidemiology and population health. She is passionate about using quantitative approaches to better understand health and development. Outside of work and school, she enjoys creative and low-key hobbies like cozy coloring books, paint-by-number, puzzles or taking long walks by the harbor with a good audiobook.
