Brianna (Bri) Hicks headshot.

Bri joined the CASSI research department in 2021. As a research assistant, she has gained extensive experience observing and administering behavioral assessments for both autistic and non-autistic toddlers. Through her work as a core contributor to multiple behavioral coding projects, Bri developed a specialized skill set in identifying autism-related behaviors in early childhood.

Bri earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Towson University in 2025 and is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland. Beyond her research, she is a practicing part-time mental health therapist for children and adolescents.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Lucy, traveling, and painting. Leveraging her unique blend of research and clinical experience, Bri is excited to step into her new role as a developmental tester for the GLOW study in Dr. Reetzke’s lab.
