Erik is a research assistant at the BBDL currently working on HBCD and GLOW. On an average day, Erik is (often literally) running between the hospital and lab, helping with EEGs and MRIs while learning behavioral assessments and HD-DOT.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and has prior experience working in clinical therapeutic settings, schools, neuroimaging, cultural psychology, qualitative coding, and behavioral testing. Outside of lab, Erik picks up new hobbies regularly; he is currently trying to play the trumpet, speak Arabic, and redecorate his apartment.
