Elizabeth (Liz) Eiler is a research program coordinator in the Brain and Behavioral Development Lab at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McDaniel College as well as a Master of Science in Special Education and a post-graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Johns Hopkins University. 

Since joining Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2010, Liz has worked as a research and therapeutic assistant, special educator, curriculum/instruction/assessment specialist, assistant principal, and research coordiantor. Liz holds an Advanced Professional License as a Special Educator for ages K-21 in Maryland and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). 

She coordinates several projects in the BBDL and uses her expertise to complete in-person and remote research assessments, behavioral coding/manual annotation projects, and occasional community outreach. Liz also has a remote, part-time Adjunct Professor position in the Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program at SUNY Empire State University. When she’s not thinking about brains and behavior, Liz enjoys reading, thrifting & antiquing, collecting oddities, going for walks, and hanging out with her black cat, Hexie.
