Individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities face a range of forms of discrimination that negatively impacts their health and well-being. The faith community can play a key role in addressing the challenges experienced by this population.

What role do you play? What steps can we take as a community to overcome the challenges faced by individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities, and their families? The goal of this forum is to bring together faith-based community leaders and engage them in a learning collaborative to:
- Increase their awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities.
- Understand how they can help address the challenges and stigma associated with mental illness and disability.
- Learn how to better support and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Help identify those at risk and facilitate their referral to mental health services.
