Occupational Therapy Observation Opportunities
The occupational therapy department accepts student observers (undergraduate, graduate, or high school) who are interested in exploring a career in occupational therapy.
Observations are available across many of Kennedy Krieger's OT programs including: Outpatient Rehabilitation at Broadway and Columbia, our Inpatient hospital program, the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury (inpatient and outpatient), Child and Family Support Center (birth to five years old), Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSITM), and the Specialized Transition Program (STP).
Due to frequency of requests, we typically offer one-to-two-day observations, although additional time may be an option based on individual circumstances and program availability.
Individuals need to make requests at least one month prior to desired observation dates for successful completion of mandatory Training Program registration and paperwork.
Observation availability: M-F, 8-6, varies by dept.
