The Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress Training Academy was developed in 2007 to provide evidence supported and trauma informed training and consultation services to mental health professionals, service providers and organizations. Each course integrates the most recent research and trends, cultural considerations and practical interventions easily implemented into clinical and other natural settings. Our expert faculty have presented on local, regional and national fronts. The Training Academy has an extensive portfolio of innovative and well-established practices in the field of childhood traumatic stress. Training or consultation requests can be tailored to meet the specific needs of an agency or target audience. The Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress at Kennedy Krieger Institute is authorized by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners as a sponsor of Continuing Education Units.
