This innovative center will educate children ages 3–5, with and without disabilities, in a full-day, year-round program that will serve as a statewide model.
“A top priority for the Maryland State Department of Education is to advance equity and inclusion for young children and their families, which will lead to better learning outcomes. This completely aligns with our goals at Kennedy Krieger,” says Dr. Nancy Grasmick, chair of Kennedy Krieger’s board of directors and a former Maryland state superintendent of education. “We want to advance learning opportunities for as many children as we can, and we know this must start with early childhood education.”
