The Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service receives funding from the state to provide Maryland families with representation in special education matters.

Training and Equipping Faith Leaders to Establish Community Partnerships: A Learning Collaborative

Dr. Mirian Ofonedu, MCDD’s director of training, was recently interviewed by a representative of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, which issues certificates to individuals who participate in the MCDD’s annual training for faith leaders.
