Mat Rice, People On the Go (POG) executive director, received the prestigious Catalyst Award at The Arc Maryland’s Statewide Convention and Awards Banquet on May 29. This award honors individuals who have made significant contributions as innovators and catalysts for change on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This past legislative session, Rice played a key leadership role, testifying at hearings, rallying advocates, and keeping disability issues front and center, despite a challenging budget climate. The MCDD is proud of Rice’s recognition!
