  • Get help from parents, caregivers and others whenever possible
  • Have someone speak to you in the language you know best, whenever possible
  • Have as much privacy as possible

As a patient at Kennedy Krieger, you have some important responsibilities to help everyone have a good experience.

You are responsible for:

  • Talk with your team about how you feel, and ask any questions you may have
  • Be honest
  • Tell us when you are in pain
  • Follow rules and instructions
  • Treat staff, other patients and visitors with kindness and respect
  • Respect other patients’ privacy, and do not share their information
  • Not take pictures or record videos of others without their permission
