
Dr. Kallissa Bailey-Northrup is a first-year postdoctoral fellow with Child and Family Therapy Clinic (CFT) Child and Family Therapy Clinic, within the Behavioral Psychology Department, at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She identifies as a bilingual-bicultural Deaf woman fluent in English and American Sign Language. Dr. Bailey-Northrup recently graduated with her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. With a longstanding commitment to serving diverse and marginalized communities, she has focused her clinical and research interests on trauma-informed care and culturally responsive therapy for d/Deaf*, hard-of-hearing, and hearing populations across the lifespan. Dr. Bailey-Northrup looks forward to continuing her work as a compassionate clinician and advocate for accessible, trauma-informed and identity-affirming mental health care.
