Josh Welch graduated with his PsyD from Xavier University. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health, a community mental health center in Canton, OH, which included work with juveniles with sexually inappropriate behaviors. Dr. Welch enjoys working with foster children, LGBTQ+ youth and individuals with marginalized identities. His research interests include the religious/spiritual and sexual identities of LGBTQ+ individuals, and topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Dr. Welch previously worked as an all-star cheerleading and tumbling coach, which he misses dearly. Outside of work, he enjoys talking with his loved ones, tending to his pet chinchilla, exploring new hiking trails and watching movies.
