
Eva Small is excited to be completing a combined rotation in the Brief Treatment Clinic and the Child and Family Therapy Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Small is a PhD candidate for a combined Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology PhD at Illinois Institute of Technology and is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Small’s research examines how parenting behaviors and family factors influence treatment engagement and outcomes. Her clinical interests include parent training, neurodevelopmental disorders and the implementation of interventions to strengthen parent-child relationships and support children’s social-emotional development. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband, two young children and dog.
