U.S. News & World Report Names Kennedy Krieger Institute Among Best Children's Hospitals for Second Year in a Row

BALTIMORE, NOV. 4, 2025 – For a second year in a row, Kennedy Krieger Institute has been recognized as a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings assist parents and caregivers, along with their physicians, in navigating the challenges of choosing the best possible care for children with serious illnesses or complex medical needs.

The recognition honors both Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center for their joint program in Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health.

This program offers interdisciplinary, team-based, and patient- and family-centered clinical services through outpatient care, as well as specialty inpatient and rehabilitative services.

To create their list of outstanding hospitals, U.S. News collected and analyzed data from115 children’s hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children’s hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care and expert opinion among pediatric specialists.
