The Child and Family Therapy Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute provides therapy services for children, teens and young adults ages 9 to 26 years old who are experiencing emotional and behavioral health difficulties. These difficulties often affect not only the patients themselves, but their family members as well. Experts at the clinic follow evidence-based practices that reinforce well-being and positive family dynamics.
Following an initial comprehensive evaluation and consultation, each patient and their family receives an individualized treatment plan. Our clinicians offer effective treatment for a variety of different conditions, including:
- Anxiety and depression
- Bullying and peer-related issues
- Unique issues faced by military-connected families
- Phobias and fears
- ADHD
- College adjustment
- And more
