My name is Kristen McAllister, and I am thrilled to be the patient liaison specialist here at the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury (ICSCI) at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Seven years ago, I felt hopeless following my own diagnosis of Transverse Myelitis (a type of nontraumatic Spinal Cord Injury). My journey luckily led me to the ICSCI and immediately upon rolling through the doors, I felt hope and so much support, which I am so excited to share with you!
