The International Center for Spinal Cord Injury (ICSCI) at Kennedy Krieger Institute center helps children and adults with spinal cord injuries and paralysis caused by accidents, strokes, tumors, birth defects and other causes. Treatment goals include improvement of health and optimal recovery of day-to-day and neurologic function.
Our medically supervised therapy program uses techniques that have shown great promise in helping people who have chronic spinal cord injuries.
In addition to our activity-based restorative therapy program and medical clinic, the Center offers a wide range of specialized medical and therapeutic services.
