Kennedy Krieger Institute & MCCEI Webinar Series: Neurodiversity in the Workplace
Studies show that one in four workers in the industry self-identify as neurodiverse, yet many still face unnecessary barriers to employment, advancement, and belonging. Misunderstandings about learning styles, disability definitions, and accessibility can prevent organizations from fully tapping into this significant and valuable segment of the workforce. This three-part webinar series will help employers, managers, HR professionals, and industry leaders gain practical strategies to build inclusive environments where neurodiverse employees can thrive. Through real-world examples, expert insights, and lived experiences, participants will leave with tools to improve hiring practices, remove structural barriers, and create a culture of acceptance that benefits both employees and organizations.
Panel 1 – Setting the Stage: Workplace Advancement (October 7, 2025, 12–12:45 p.m.)
