Jessica Grow is a fellow at the Center for Innovation and Leadership in Special Education at Kennedy Krieger Institute. In her experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students, she’s found that the best strategy for helping struggling learners is to build positive relationships, as well as to recognize the strengths and value the contributions of all students.
