Our multi-disciplinary team of researchers is dedicated to advancing the understanding and prevention of suicide, its thinking, its behaviors, and its physical and mental health consequences among children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

We are focused on screening and identifying the clinical, personal, and social factors that influence such thinking. Through this work, we aim to support the creation of more effective screening tools, interventions, and evidence-based practices.

Our research is designed to support clinicians, caregivers, and communities in preventing suicide thoughts and behaviors and providing thoughtful, responsive care for the youth and adults facing such challenges.
