The outpatient Occupational Therapy Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute provides evaluation and treatment to improve clients' fine motor skills, activities of daily living (including eating, dressing, hygiene, toileting and play activities), oral motor skills and adaptive seating needs.

Our team focuses on helping clients achieve independence throughout their lives. We consult with parents, teachers, medical providers, and other community professionals to ensure our clients reach their full potential.

Assistive Technology Clinic

At Kennedy Krieger's Assistive Technology Clinic, innovative technologies and the expertise of our specialists allow children and adults to enjoy many of the same activities as their peers. Professionals from the disciplines of speech language pathology (SLP) and occupational therapy (OT) collaborate to help patients with a variety of communication, learning, and mobility needs communicate and build independence.

The Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program serving children, families and professionals in the autism community. The center combines clinical services, research and training programs to unlock the potential autistic children and teens, enrich their life experiences, empower parents and promote the well-being of families through evidence-based practices.

Center for Development and Learning

The Center for Development and Learning is Kennedy Krieger’s oldest and largest medical clinic, treating children from birth to young adults with developmental and behavioral disorders.

Day Feeding Program

The Feeding Disorders Day Program (part of the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program) provides therapy for children with feeding disorders that require more intensive treatment than is offered through outpatient services.

Down Syndrome Clinic and Research Center

This center provides interdisciplinary and comprehensive evaluations and services for patients from birth to adulthood with Down syndrome. Services include those for pediatric developmental delay, complex neurodevelopmental and behavior concerns, and adolescent and adult mental health needs.

Feeding/Swallowing Disorders Clinic

The Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program’s outpatient services help parents and children who regularly face stressful meal times identify the feeding approaches that work well for their individual needs.

Philip A. Keelty Center for Spina Bifida and Related Conditions

The Philip A. Keelty Center for Spina Bifida and Related Conditions serves children and adults with spina bifida, myelomeningocele (meningomyelocele) and myelodysplasia, as well as other related conditions of the brain and spine, such as hydrocephalus, Arnold-Chiari malformation and tethered spinal cord syndrome.

At the Phelps Center, our expert physicians and therapists specialize in providing comprehensive neurological, developmental, and rehabilitative evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with a wide variety of developmental disorders.
