Lisa Wetzelberger, RN

Hello. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Lisa Wetzelberger, and I am the nurse navigator for the STRONG program at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

I understand this can be a busy and overwhelming time for you, filled with new information and experiences. This introduction is meant to help you get to know me, understand my role and enable you to reach me when support is needed.

Please know that I will not replace any member of your Johns Hopkins Medicine team. Instead, I will work alongside them to provide guidance, coordination and support—helping you navigate services, resources and next steps with confidence.

How I Help

  • Answer questions as they arise
  • Help explain next steps
  • Connect you to resources and services
  • Work closely with your care team
  • Support you and your family, now and in the future

On some days, you may have questions or need extra help. On other days, we may work through things together or simply check in. I care about your goals and how you are doing.

My goal is to lessen your burden and help make things feel less stressful and overwhelming. I will check in with you regularly, and you may contact me at any time.

About Me

Since we will be getting to know each other, I would like to share a little about myself.

I have been a nurse for many years, and I have experience in hospitals, schools and outpatient clinics.

I have a husband, three children and a dog. I do not have brothers or sisters, but I have many friends that I enjoy spending time with.

Contact Information

Please reach out at any time if questions or concerns arise. If I am unavailable, I will respond as soon as I am able to.
