As one of the largest fundraising events in Baltimore, Festival of Trees serves as the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season for thousands of Baltimore-area families. This holiday celebration benefits kids at Kennedy Krieger and kicks off the most wonderful time of the year, with designer-decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses on display and for sale; gift boutiques; rides and games; food; an online auction; and live entertainment on all three days!

ROAR for Kids at Kennedy Krieger: A 5K and Fun Walk - April 12, 2026

ROAR for Kids at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a 5K Race, low mileage walk and a family festival featuring fun and excitement for the whole family. The event welcomes more than 1,000 participants and includes adaptive games and activities, entertainment and refreshments, the famous Mascot Challenge and much more! Participants will enjoy ROAR swag, fundraising prizes and incentives, goodies, and giveaways.

ROAR for Kids at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a safe, inclusive space where like-minded people and children and families of all abilities can come together to celebrate everything that is special about Kennedy Krieger Institute. More details for the 2025 event coming soon.

Center for Autism Charity Golf Outing

The Center for Autism Charity Golf Outing will be held at the esteemed Country Club of Maryland. Featuring a beautiful day on the course, including lunch and dinner, giveaways and contests. Attendees may register to golf individually or as a group for four. Not a golfer? You can still support the event by joining us for dinner and the awards reception. This event benefits the more than 1,000 patients and families treated by the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI)

Pickleball for All

Support Team Kennedy Krieger by becoming a sponsor of Pickleball for All, an accessible pickleball tournament for all level players and adaptive athletes! Over the years, Team Kennedy Krieger has raised more than $1 million! Funds raised support the training needs of patients with disabilities who participate in Kennedy Krieger adaptive sports events, as well as scholarships to the Institute’s Wellness Center, new therapy equipment, patient participation in marathons across the country, and adaptive and recreational sports and activities, such as wheelchair lacrosse and adaptive surfing. The team also donates funds back to Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Champions of Hope is Kennedy Krieger Institute’s inaugural gala, designed to celebrate our sponsor organizations while amplifying Kennedy Krieger’s mission of empowering children and families to achieve their fullest potential. Join us as we unite to elevate our collective impact and inspire hope for brighter futures.

Hats and Horses: A Derby-Themed Gala

Hats & Horses is an annual derby-themed gala hosted by the Women’s Initiative Network for Kennedy Krieger. Guests enjoy cuisine by Linwoods, specialty cocktails, an auction and dancing! Each year, the event welcomes more than 300 engaged community leaders who are committed to supporting Baltimore’s business, retail and nonprofit communities. Proceeds from this event benefit a different program at Kennedy Krieger Institute each year.

Harvesting Hope

The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) for Kennedy Krieger Institute hosts Harvesting Hope, a signature fall event. A warm and welcoming seasonal gathering, the event will bring together WIN members, community supporters, and philanthropic leaders to celebrate connection, community, and the collective impact of giving.
