Dr. Victoria (Tori) Dahl is a psychologist in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic and the Department of Behavioral Psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She joined the department in 2020.
Education
Dr. Dahl received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Psychology and Near Easter Studies, continuing her education at New York University – Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, where she received her MA and PhD in Counseling Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic.
Dr. Dahl has been a licensed psychologist in Maryland since 2023. She is also a member of the National Register and PSYPACT, as well as several professional organizations (APA, ABCT, Maryland Psychological Association).
Dr. Dahl’s clinical work is in individual and family therapy, with a specialized interest in using mindfulness-based therapy approaches. She uses a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to treat families, children and adolescents with internalizing and externalizing behavioral presenting concerns. Dr. Dahl currently sees patients both in person and via telehealth.
