About
Nicole “Nicki” McCann, JD, is the executive vice president and chief strategy officer at Kennedy Krieger Institute. In this role, she will oversee the development and implementation of institute-wide strategic initiatives integrating Kennedy Krieger’s multiple operating segments in clinical care, research, education, advocacy, and training.
McCann is the past vice president for The Johns Hopkins Health System and a former chief of staff for The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Randoph Macon College and a juris doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Currently, she chairs the Maryland Medicaid Advisory Committee and is a commissioner with the Health Service Cost Review Commission.
McCann also serves on the board of directors for Ronald McDonald House Maryland and National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Metro-Baltimore. She is a past board member of The Arc of Baltimore.
McCann was born and raised in Baltimore.
