About
Nicole Maffia has been a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Baltimore area for 11 years with previous experience working with children at Health Care for the Homeless and in private practice in Dundalk. She currently serves in the Center for Development and Learning at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She cares for patients with various developmental and behavioral disorders including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Learning Disabilities and Intellectual Disabilities. Maffia is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Education
Maffia obtained an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College in 2000. She received her BSN from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2007, and an MSN from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2015 to become a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC). Maffia joined Kennedy Krieger in 2025.
