About

Dr. Brian Jobe is the associate director of the Child and Family Therapy Clinic and joined the staff of the Child and Family Therapy Clinic at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2016. He began supervising graduate trainees in 2017 and became the associate director of the clinic in 2019. Dr. Jobe is a licensed psychologist in Maryland and provides telehealth services via PSYPACT to various out-of-state patients.

Education

Dr. Jobe received a Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2003, a Master of Arts in clinical psychology in 2009 and a PhD in 2014, both from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.  He completed his doctoral internship at Kennedy Krieger’s Child and Family Therapy Clinic in 2014 as well as a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger and The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Dr. Jobe has been a licensed psychologist in Maryland since 2016 and focuses on working with families, adolescents and young adults. He utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that incorporates Cognitive Behavior Therapy principles with a relational focus to help address issues impairing mood, functioning and relationships.
