Hope in Bloom - May 8, 2026

Overview: This spring, The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) for Kennedy Krieger Institute is proud to introduce Hope in Bloom, a signature event debuting at the M&T Bank Exchange. A vibrant and elegant cocktail style celebration, the event will bring together WIN members, community supporters, and philanthropic leaders to honor connection, renewal, and the transformative power of giving. Guests will experience an unforgettable evening featuring a strolling dinner with creative passed fare, small plate stations and craft cocktails, amid a backdrop of one of the most stunning and historic venues in Baltimore. 

Impact: In 2026, Hope in Bloom, you will directly fund The Fairmount Toddler and Preschool playground; a fully accessible playground for children aged 0-5, served by Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Fairmount Rehabilitation programs. Your generosity will transform an empty space into a therapeutic environment where some of our youngest children can build strength, confidence, and joy through play. SPONSORSHIP

Harvesting Hope - November 2026

Overview: The Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) for Kennedy Krieger will host a fall event at Cece’s of Roland Park, which has quickly become an unparalleled dining destination. While enjoying delicious food, live music, and an open-air courtyard, guests will have the opportunity to support our programs that provide hope for patients and students served by Kennedy Krieger. 

Impact: Each year, WIN’s signature fall event funds a priority initiative, program or piece of equipment through the generosity of more than 100 community partners. Over the past nine years, sponsors and guests have raised more than $400,000.

Champions of Hope Gala - April 17, 2027 (hosted every other year)

Overview: Kennedy Krieger's signature gala celebrates the Institute's mission of empowering patients and students, and their families, to pursue all that’s possible, while also recognizing the Institute's sponsoring organizations. Invitees include corporate and philanthropic audiences in the Baltimore-D.C.-Northern Virginia region (and beyond). This exquisite biennial evening will include a creative VIP reception; inventive craft cocktails; a seated, chef-designed dinner; enticing desserts; dancing; and live, exciting entertainment.

Impact: Attendees will experience a one-of-a-kind evening, with the opportunity to hear—firsthand—stories of relentless hope, remarkable resilience and extraordinary strength. All proceeds will go toward improving the lives of the tens of thousands of children, adolescents and adults with nervous system diseases, disorders and injuries who turn to us each year. Kennedy Krieger is renowned for its comprehensive approach, combining cutting-edge research, compassionate clinical care, and specialized educational programs, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support and empowering them to reach their fullest potential

Family-Friendly Events:

ROAR for Kids at Kennedy Krieger: A 5K and Fun Walk - April 12, 2026

Overview: Held at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, this event welcomes 1,500-plus participants and offers a 5K race, lowmileage walk and finish-line activities featuring adaptive games, entertainment and refreshments, the famous Mascot Dance Party, and much more. Participants enjoy ROAR swag, fundraising prizes and incentives, and giveaways. 

Impact: Since the 2005 inaugural event, ROAR for Kids has raised more than $3.5 million for the Institute’s patients, students and programs. 

Sponsorship Opportunities: $500–$15,000, plus many volunteer opportunities for employees, and sponsors will enjoy free event registrations, free zoo admissions and on-site promotional opportunities

The 37th Annual Festival of Trees - November 27–29, 2026

Overview: Held annually on Thanksgiving weekend at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, this event is a holiday tradition eagerly anticipated by families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. It features the display and sale of hundreds of one-of-a- kind, designer-decorated holiday trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses created by local businesses, individuals, schools and community groups. Adding to the fun are dozens of seasonal vendors, an elaborate working train display, strolling entertainment, free visits with Santa and more. 

Impact: Since its inception, the Festival of Trees has welcomed one million-plus visitors and has raised more than $26 million to support the Institute’s patients, students and programs.

Sporting Events:

Center for Autism Golf Outing - August 3, 2026

Overview: Held at the Country Club of Maryland in Baltimore, this annual event benefits the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™) and includes lunch, a shotgun start, a goody bag, raffles, contests and a dinner reception. 

Impact: CASSI is a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program serving children, families and professionals in the autism community. CASSI combines clinical services, research and training programs to help children and teens with autism pursue all that’s possible, enrich their experiences, empower them and their families, and promote well-being through evidence-based approaches. 

Sponsorship Opportunities: $150–$10,000 for showcasing sponsor’s brand with regional businesses and participating golfers

Pickleball for All - September 19, 2026

Overview: Following the successful launch in 2025 of the area's first adaptive pickleball tournament for all levels of athletes, the family-friendly event will return in fall 2026. Never played pickleball before? No worries! There will be a beginners’ clinic as well as games for newcomers, proficient players, adaptive athletes, and mixed doubles. Expect the usual Team Kennedy Krieger camaraderie and fun! 

Impact: Team Kennedy Krieger has made a tremendous impact, raising funds and awareness for the amazing patients and families we serve every day. Over the last 13 years, we have raised more than $1 million! Funds raised support the training needs of patients with disabilities who participate in Kennedy Krieger adaptive sports events, as well as scholarships to the Institute’s Wellness Center, new therapy equipment, patient participation in marathons across the country, and adaptive and recreational sports and activities, such as wheelchair lacrosse and adaptive surfing. The team also donates funds back to Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Tapping into Talent: Innovation and Opportunity, a Collaborative National Conference - Fall 2027

Overview: This conference supports our Neurodiversity at Work Program initiatives and empowers employers to build a dynamic workforce and enhance the workplace. Sponsors have a unique networking opportunity to connect with hundreds of professionals from nonprofit organizations and multinational companies committed to improving employment and/or higher education success and outcomes for the neurodiverse workforce. 

Impact: Through collective impact, conference attendees engage in dynamic discussions, learn from expert presenters, and build a network of change-makers who promote diverse and inclusive employment practices.
