About
Dr. Madison Holmes is a first-year pediatric neuropsychology fellow in Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment. She sees patients with a wide variety of medical and neurodevelopmental conditions from birth through young adulthood through a variety of clinics. Dr. Holmes additionally participates in research, training, and leadership activities.
Education
Dr. Holmes received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her master’s degree and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Holmes completed an APA-accredited internship in health service psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Neuropsychology and Brief Treatment tracks.
Research
Dr. Holmes has a strong interest in cognitive and behavioral aspects of neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her prior research has focused on longitudinal assessment and long-term neuropsychological outcomes in pediatric cases of central nervous system disorders. A portion of her research also focused on adverse childhood experiences.
