About

Dr. Ariana Zahn is a staff psychologist of the Child and Family Therapy Clinic within the Department of Behavioral Psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute. 

Education

Dr. Zahn received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island in psychology, continuing her education at West Chester University where she received her master’s degree and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health. She completed her doctoral internship at Intercommunity Action in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Zahn completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Child and Family Therapy Clinic within Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Zahn has been a licensed psychologist in Maryland since 2023. She holds an E. Passport in order to work with families via telehealth in PsyPact participating states. Dr. Zahn co-directs the undergraduate internship program within her clinic.

Dr. Zahn’s expertise is in family therapy. She utilizes evidenced-based treatments and modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Functional Family Therapy to treat families, children and adolescents with internalizing and externalizing behavioral presenting concerns.
