Please note:

  • Kennedy Krieger School staff should listen to the news media for Baltimore City and Prince George’s County (Powder Mill) Schools status regarding possible closings and follow normal protocol.
  • Kennedy Krieger School Programs in Baltimore City will occasionally follow Baltimore County for inclement weather, when Baltimore City Schools are closed to students due to their professional development calendar.
  • Kennedy Krieger School:  Southern Maryland Campus follows St. Mary’s County Public Schools.
  • Kennedy Krieger School Programs in Southern Maryland will occasionally follow Calvert County for inclement weather, when St. Mary’s County Schools are closed to students due to their professional development calendar.
  • Early Childhood Development and Education Center will follow Baltimore County Schools status and follow protocol thereafter.
  • Southeast Early Head Start follows Baltimore City Schools status.  Employees report regardless of client status.
  • All Achievements programs and the Pre-K follow Kennedy Krieger openings/closures.
  • Monitor the MTA website for alerts about public transportation services.
