Program Coordinator for the Dr. James A. Ferguson Emerging Infectious Diseases Graduate Fellowship Program.

Joi Brownlee is a program coordinator at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Excellence in Public Health Leadership with the Dr. James A. Ferguson Emerging Infectious Diseases Graduate Fellowship Program. Ms. Brownlee earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. 

Prior to joining Kennedy Krieger, Ms. Brownlee served as an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, assisting with a variety of projects focused on emergency preparedness, infectious disease readiness and public health workforce development initiatives. Her professional interests include emerging infectious diseases, zoonoses and public health policy. 

As a program coordinator for the Ferguson Fellowship, Ms. Brownlee is committed to supporting the next generation of public health professionals and empowering future public health leaders to make an impact within their communities.
