About

Dr. Siddharth Gupta is a pediatric epileptologist and assistant professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute. He serves as the medical director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and the Clinical High-Density EEG Program at Kennedy Krieger.

Education

Dr. Gupta completed fellowship training in Epilepsy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, following residencies in Pediatric Neurology and Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in Neurology and Neurogenetics at Johns Hopkins.

Research

His research focuses on improving noninvasive localization of the epileptogenic zone in children with drug-resistant focal epilepsy using EEG source imaging and quantitative neurophysiology, as well as identifying EEG-based biomarkers to enable earlier epilepsy risk prediction in pediatric epilepsy and related neurodevelopmental disorders.
