About
Dr. Phil Sojka is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Center for Developmental Behavioral Health at Kennedy Krieger Institute. He is also an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral health sciences at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Sojka completed his undergraduate and medical school degrees at Indiana University. That was followed by a combined residency and fellowship in pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child psychiatry at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. While there, he also was a chief resident and completed the Brown Advocates for Social Change and Equity (BASCE) fellowship. After clinical training, he completed a clinical education fellowship in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins.
Research Summary
Dr. Sojka's primary research interest is in medical education. He is particularly interested in studying how to effectively train pediatricians to deliver effective behavior and mental health care to children.
