About
Dr. Natalie Ridgely is a first-year pediatric neuropsychology fellow in the Center for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment (CNaP) at Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Ridgely received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Muhlenberg College. She received her first master’s degree in psychological science from The Catholic University of America, and her second master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston. She then went on to complete her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Ridgely completed an APA-accredited internship in health service psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Psychology.
Research
Dr. Ridgely has a strong interest in health and science literacy, and her previous research has focused on how individuals access, understand and apply scientific information to inform their daily lives. She is curious about how health and science literacy impact patients’ and families’ experiences receiving neuropsychological services.
