Dr. Jonathan Rabner is a staff psychologist in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic within the Behavioral Psychology Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Education
Dr. Rabner received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Brandeis University and his master’s degree in psychology from Boston University. He continued his education at Temple University where he received his doctoral and master’s degrees in clinical psychology. He completed his APA approved doctoral internship and his postdoctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rabner has been licensed in the State of Maryland since 2025. He is also credentialed with the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT).
Dr. Rabner utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Functional Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parent Management Training and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to best support families, children, adolescents and parents in achieving their specific goals. Dr. Rabner focuses on areas of strength and growth within the individual and family contexts. Dr. Rabner specializes in family communication difficulties, anxiety, depression, noncompliance and executive functioning challenges. Dr. Rabner is available to see patients in person and via telehealth.
