About
Dr. Jessica Balter is a first-year child clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow in Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment (CNap). She works with children, adolescents, and their families through multiple clinics within the CNaP outpatient program.
Education
Dr. Balter graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Sciences and Spanish from Florida State University. She received her Master of Science in Psychology and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Balter completed an APA-accredited internship at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in Rockville, Maryland.
Research
Dr. Balter completed her doctoral dissertation titled “Evaluating the Neuropsychological Profile of Severe and Enduring Anorexia Nervosa: A Literature Review.” During fellowship, she is looking forward to expanding her research and clinical experiences.
