About
Dr. Ivana Cernokova is a postdoctoral fellow in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Cernokova received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wyoming. She received her master’s degree in clinical mental health from University of Wyoming and then went on to complete her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from University of North Texas. Dr. Cernokova completed an APA accredited internship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Research
Dr. Cernokova’s prior research focused on assessing neural connectivity and aspects of cognitive functioning in pediatric intractable epilepsy before and after epilepsy surgery. A portion of her research also focused on factors that influence concussion recovery.
