About
Dr. Dasal Jashar joined the Department of Neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute as a staff neuropsychologist in 2019. She also serves as the co-director of Externship Training within the department. Dr. Jashar is passionate about providing informed, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care to children, adolescents and young adults with neurodevelopmental and medical conditions and their families. She sees patients for neuropsychological assessment in the Epilepsy/Brain Injury Clinic.
Education
Dr. Dasal Jashar received her bachelor of arts degree in Psychology at The College of New Jersey and her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Connecticut, with concentrations in neuropsychology and child clinical psychology. She completed an APA-accredited internship in pediatric neuropsychology and child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Jashar then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
After completing her fellowship, she joined the Neuropsychology Department at Kennedy Krieger Institute as a neuropsychologist. Dr. Jashar is passionate about providing informed, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care to children, adolescents, and young adults with neurodevelopmental and medical conditions and their families.
