Dr. Claudia Campbell is a first-year clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment (CNaP) at Kennedy Krieger Institute. They see children and adolescents through multiple clinics within the CNaP outpatient program.

Education

Dr. Campbell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Child Advocacy Studies from the University of Missouri—St. Louis. They also received their Master of Science in Psychology and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri—St. Louis. Dr. Campbell completed an APA-accredited internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress and Center for Developmental and Behavioral Health. 

Research

Dr. Campbell completed their doctoral dissertation titled “A Latent Profile Analysis of High-Risk Children’s Problematic Sexual Behavior.” Broadly, Dr. Campbell research focus includes examination of trauma-related risk factors and outcomes among marginalized and underserved youth populations. During fellowship. Dr. Campbell is hoping to expand their research to investigate associations between childhood trauma exposure, neurodevelopmental differences, and behavioral and emotional symptoms.
