About
Dr. Anhvu Nguyen is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Center for Developmental Behavioral Health at Kennedy Krieger Institute. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Nguyen completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Texas A&M University. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at the Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine where he was chief resident. He then completed his child and adolescent psychiatry training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he was chief fellow.
Research Summary
Dr. Nguyen’s professional interests include medical education, as well as treatment of both neuropsychiatric and internet-use disorders, such as internet gaming disorders and social media addiction.
