About
Andrea De La Torre is a bilingual psychology associate II in the Center for Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment (CNaP) Outpatient Clinics at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She joined the Institute in 2022 as a research coordinator, where she worked with a diverse population, including individuals with mood disorders and Down syndrome. Prior to that, Andrea served as an applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD), supporting children and families through behavior-focused interventions.
Education
De La Torre earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She later completed her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at the University of Baltimore, where she also fulfilled her graduate internship in a private practice setting as a psychotherapist. During her clinical training, De La Torre provided therapeutic services in both English and Spanish.
