The purpose of this presentation is to provide information to families and professionals about the Life Skills Program at CARD, a short-term treatment program that focuses on increasing youth's independence within functional everyday activities as well as underlying sensory motor components that might impact self-care performance.

Presenters:

Sarah Welch, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist at CARD. Sarah is certified in administration of the AMPS. Her specific areas of interest include sensory processing, and improving activities of daily living skills in children. 

Valeria Swartz-Diaz, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist at CARD. Currently, she leads individual and group treatment programs at CARD, including preschool language and life skills groups.
