Tints and shades

Tints and shades can be used to expand the brand color palette and to add contrast between colors and as accent colors. They should always be used in conjunction with their base color from the Kennedy Krieger color palette. They should never appear alone without the base color. Tints are created by adding white to a base color, while shades are created by adding black to a base color. Tints and shades with required text size for accessibility are shown to the right.
