Thursday, November 6 • 6:30 – 9 p.m. • Cece’s Roland Park
This fall, the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) for Kennedy Krieger Institute introduces Harvesting Hope, a new signature event debuting at CeCe’s of Roland Park. A warm and welcoming seasonal gathering, the event will bring together WIN members, community supporters, and philanthropic leaders to celebrate connection, community, and the collective impact of giving.
Hosted in the inviting atmosphere of CeCe’s—known for its locally sourced fare—guests will enjoy fall-inspired tastings and refreshments. The evening will highlight the transformative work of Kennedy Krieger Institute and the vital role WIN philanthropy plays in advancing education, research, and care for children and families.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Support for Harvesting Hope will directly fund the creation of a dedicated Teen Lounge as part of the upcoming renovation of Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Child Life and Recreation Therapies Department. This thoughtfully designed space will meet the unique needs of adolescent patients—many of whom currently feel out of place in environments geared toward younger children. The new Teen Lounge will offer a welcoming age-appropriate setting where teens can relax, socialize, and experience a sense of normalcy during treatment. Complete with a gaming area and comfortable seating, it will be a space where teens feel seen, valued, and included in the healing process.
Thanks to your involvement, the Teen Lounge will feature an exciting mix of interactive and therapeutic elements that will ensure the space remains flexible, creative, and engaging for every teen using the space, including:
- a modular sectional couch
- a 75” smart TV
- updated gaming systems with adapted controllers
- teen-friendly craft and arcade areas, which may include a commercial-grade basketball game, air hockey table, Skee ball machine, ping pong conversion top, ring swing wall game, arcade claw machine, and a commercial-grade spin art machine (based on the layout of this area)
- adjustable tables, ample storage, and a variety of games and arts & crafts supplies
Your generosity will help bring this vibrant vision to life— creating a space where teens can simply be teens, even in the midst of some of the most challenging days of their lives.
