About ROAR for Kids
Kennedy Krieger Institute’s ROAR for Kids provides the perfect opportunity for your company to connect with children and families in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. Participants may join in our 5K run, low-mileage fun walk for individuals of all ages, and/or family jungle festival. This event features activities for the whole family, including entertainment and refreshments, and one of the area’s most impressive playgrounds. Those who would like to support the Institute but are unable to attend may register to “Snore for ROAR” (i.e., raise money online only). All participants—in-person attendees and online-only fundraisers—receive a commemorative t-shirt.
Since the inaugural event in 2005, ROAR for Kids has raised more than $3 million for research and programs at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
