Dr. Tashya Wilson is a pediatric psychologist licensed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC who joined the Department of Neuropsychology in the Specialized Transition Program at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2022. She specializes in helping children, adolescents, and families dealing with chronic health and medical conditions manage, cope, recover and thrive as they begin their transition back into their home, community and school lives. She has worked as an integrated care pediatric psychologist at Children’s National Hospital in the child and adolescent primary care clinics, and is a strong advocate of integrated and collaborative care. She is committed to social justice and closing the gap in minority medical and mental health disparities.
Dr. Wilson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Howard University in Washington, DC. She earned her doctoral degree from American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Wilson completed her predoctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, where she served as chief resident.
